He has taught painting at Painting Workshops in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe and won gold and silver medals at the Rockport Art Association and a gold medal at the Salmagundi Club (NY). His work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. He was a Contributing Editor for American Artist Magazine and his books include Gruppe on Painting; Brushwork; Color in Outdoor Painting; Painting with Light; Art of Landscape Painting; Croney on Watercolor, North Light.
